In the beginning...
Characters Species: Stantler
Description of Character: Slightly paler then your average Stantler, Bracken is marked with an odd star shape on his left shoulder.
History of Character: Despite a rather precarious start in life, Bracken has grown from a knock-kneed, confused fawn into an adolescent. His mother perished soon after birthing him, and he was taken in and cared for by Evin and Milly, an escaped Miltank. Fairly early on, he befriended Akima, a Preevee and a Growlithe pup, Api, both of which are unusual play-mates for a herbivore.
Personality of Character: Noble and ever willing to please, Bracken is almost the self-sacrificing sort, although he hides it beneath a veil of innocence. He has yet to discover how harsh the world can be!
Briarthorne, Bracken's mother, lost her life bringing herself and the fawn she carried to Lake Eerie.
The Tale (short)
As yet, Bracken has merely been learning and growing, but soon he is about to undertake a destiny he could only dream of. And has!He is currently wandering across the lake in the company of his two older friends (Api and Akima) in search of Mama-Milly's (as he likes to call her) calf.
Before Api appeared on the scene - here is Bracken with his three lady friends, Eva, Pearl and Akima. (Note: He hasn't actually grown his horns properly yet, ah well!)
After succesfully finding and liberating the calves (which you can read about here) Bracken and his friends set off to find sanctuary.
But soon he will have to face Lucerne, overlord of the lake's Stantler population, and not a nice guy!
